A market-leading technology and telecommunications organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of the full accounting function within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers exposure to a listed, technology-driven business where financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight are essential to supporting business performance and future expansion. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will contribute to financial excellence while gaining valuable exposure to a complex and evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Process journals and month-end reporting
- Manage VAT and statutory submissions
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls
- Assist with annual audits
- Monitor cash flow and fixed asset registers
- Support financial reporting to regional finance leadership
- BCom Accounting
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous
- 3–6 years' commercial accounting experience
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, fleet management, or a related industry advantageous
- ERP experience and Advanced Excel
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
