What We're Looking For
We're seeking a finance professional who can demonstrate:- BCom degree in Accounting or Finance
- Completed articles and registered with a professional body
- 2–5 years of post-articles experience
- Exposure to Project Finance (essential)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
- Experience in financial reporting and compliance
- Exposure to hospitality, gaming, or entertainment industries advantageous
- Experience with financial systems and process improvements
- Knowledge of automation initiatives within finance beneficial
- Cognos Reporting experience advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Accountant, you will:- Perform technical accounting and financial reporting functions
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies
- Support and manage project finance activities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Prepare financial information for management and key stakeholders
- Drive process improvements within the finance function
- Support automation and system enhancement initiatives
- Assist with audit requirements and regulatory compliance processes
- Contribute to the strengthening of financial controls and reporting accuracy
