Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing and financial models to support tenders, proposals, business planning, valuation, and strategic decision-making.
- Review tender requirements and create commercial models that meet client specifications while ensuring profitability targets and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Analyse complex financial and operational data to provide accurate insights and recommendations to management.
- Prepare and present commercial models, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and mitigate risk.
- Produce regular reporting on revenues, margins, benchmarking, quarterly forecasts, and annual projections.
- Develop detailed costing models for customer proposals while balancing commercial requirements and business objectives.
- Present financial analyses and client pricing models to internal stakeholders and senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to deliver commercially viable solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar financial modelling, pricing, or commercial specialist role within the renewable energy or power sector.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Proven experience in financial modelling, project finance, pricing strategies, and energy trading.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
