Job Summary
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial administration while contributing to the overall efficiency and control of the finance function.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years' accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Controls & Reporting:- Ensure accurate VAT coding and compliance
- Process general ledger allocations
- Perform month-end reconciliations
- Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting
- Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation
- Contribute to process improvements and enhanced financial controls
Accounts Receivable Management:- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Perform debtor reconciliations
- Manage collections and credit control processes
- Monitor and maintain debtor ageing reports
- Maintain accurate debtor records
- Resolve customer billing queries efficiently
Accounts Payable Management:- Capture and process supplier invoices
- Perform supplier reconciliations
- Manage payment processing and payment runs
- Monitor creditor ageing reports
- Resolve supplier queries
- Maintain accurate creditor records
Core Focus of the Role:
- Ensure accuracy across all accounts receivable and payable functions
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards
- Support timely and reliable financial reporting
- Contribute to the smooth running of the finance department
