Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years' accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Controls & Reporting:

• Ensure accurate VAT coding and compliance
• Process general ledger allocations
• Perform month-end reconciliations
• Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting
• Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation
• Contribute to process improvements and enhanced financial controls

Accounts Receivable Management:

• Prepare and issue customer invoices
• Perform debtor reconciliations
• Manage collections and credit control processes
• Monitor and maintain debtor ageing reports
• Maintain accurate debtor records
• Resolve customer billing queries efficiently

Accounts Payable Management:

• Capture and process supplier invoices
• Perform supplier reconciliations
• Manage payment processing and payment runs
• Monitor creditor ageing reports
• Resolve supplier queries
• Maintain accurate creditor records

Core Focus of the Role:

• Ensure accuracy across all accounts receivable and payable functions
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards
• Support timely and reliable financial reporting
• Contribute to the smooth running of the finance department
