Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Financial Manager in the execution of day‑to‑day finance functions
- Prepare, review, and present monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts
- Conduct balance sheet reviews, follow up on queries, and resolve financial discrepancies
- Maintain strong corporate governance and internal controls, including audit reviews
- Perform analytical reviews, cost analysis, profitability reporting, and key statistics monitoring
- Prepare board packs, manage capex budgets, and assist with feasibility studies and ad‑hoc projects
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:- Bachelor of Commerce Degree (minimum requirement)
Experience:- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting role
- Hospitality industry experience advantageous
- Strong exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Skills:- SAP (S/4HANA) experience
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and the Companies Act
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
Other non‑negotiables:- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel to hotels in the Western and Eastern Cape
- High attention to detail and strong time‑management skills
