You will be responsible for managing core bookkeeping functions, including processing invoices, capturing journal entries, and performing reconciliations. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and capture invoices accurately and timeously
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Ensure financial transactions are correctly recorded and up to date
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or variances
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting with proven practical skills
- Minimum 2+ years’ bookkeeping experience
- Essential: Sage 200 Evolution experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills
