Specialising in import/export, freight forwarding, logistical management, and cold chain solutions, this business plays a critical role in supply chains across South Africa.This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with 2–5 years’ experience who enjoys working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment and wants hands‑on exposure to the full finance function.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant or Bookkeeper
- Strong understanding of the full finance function
- Experience in logistics, transport, manufacturing, or high‑volume environments (highly advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the full financial function
- Preparation and review of financial reports
- Managing general ledger accounts and performing reconciliations
- Processing and reviewing bank statements
- Overseeing creditors and debtors
- Assisting with month‑end and year‑end processes
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
