Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the financial management function across the business
- Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Oversee cash flow management, reconciliations, and reporting processes
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Lead month-end, year-end, and audit processes
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights
- Strengthen internal controls, processes, and operational efficiencies
- Partner with leadership on financial planning and strategic decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and support the finance team
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- BCom / CIMA / CA(SA) qualification
- 5+ years’ post-articles experience in a financial management role
- Proven experience within the education sector (essential)
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and operational finance experience
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with a hands-on, solution-driven approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
