What You'll Be Doing
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage the accounting function across multiple entities.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
- Assist with month-end reporting and financial close processes.
Reconciliations & Financial Control
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies timeously.
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal processes.
- Support the maintenance of accurate financial records across all entities.
Planning & Business Support
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Support financial decision-making through reporting and analysis.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to support operational objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across various business units.
- Build strong working relationships in a remote environment.
- Support both operational and strategic finance initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive, solutions-driven team culture.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles.
Experience
- Experience within a small to medium-sized audit or accounting firm.
- Exposure to commercial accounting environments will be advantageous.
- Experience working across multiple entities will be highly beneficial.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally in Afrikaans.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
- Able to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.
