Experience Required:
- 3 years financial management experience
- Working knowledge of Financial Administration Systems
- Effective people leadership skills
- Extensive PC skills required including MS Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar
- Completed SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA articles preferred
- Sound knowledge of IFRS for SME’s, Companies Act and all Accounting Regulations
- Sound knowledge of Tax regulations
- Attention to detail, ability to work accurately under pressure
Key Functions:
- Manage Financial/Administration Employees to obtain specific performance outcomes
- Risk management
- Staff training & Development
- Implement & maintain internal control systems
- Preparation of annual financial statements (Independent Reviews, compilations and Consolidated financial statements)
- Handling of all SARS matters (Calculation of provisional tax and VAT and submission thereof, completing Income tax returns from financial statements and submission thereof and all SARS audits
- Monthly/Annual preparation of the cash flow forecast
- Monitor cash flow
- Loading and authorising daily payments of the company
- Oversee, review and analyse monthly management accounts & reports
- Preparation of the profit and loss for business units
- Monitor expenses and associated SLA’s
- Conduct internal audits
- Oversee year-end audit file
- Assist with the companies Group
