Qualification Requirements
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Cloud Engineering and DevOps environments.
- Proven experience implementing CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Key Skills
- AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- CI/CD pipeline development.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation).
- Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Security and compliance automation.
- Monitoring and observability tools.
- Linux and scripting technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain DevOps practices.
- Build automated deployment pipelines.
- Manage cloud environments and infrastructure.
- Support application deployment and release management.
- Monitor system performance and reliability.
- Implement security controls and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
