Job Summary
Hire Resolves client is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant to support the finance department by ensuring seamless financial transactions, accurate record-keeping, and regulatory compliance. This role offers long-term growth in a well-established manufacturing company in Willowton, Pietermaritzburg.Responsibilities:
Process invoices and reconcile them with purchase orders and goods receipts.
Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments.
Manage vendor payments and account details.
Assist in external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulations.
Monitor and update debtor credit applications and information.
Assist the senior accountant with daily accounting tasks.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Completed SAIPA, CIMA, or SAICA articles.
Experience in accounts payable, receivable, and bookkeeping.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
