Job Summary

Join a reputable accounting firm in Bloemfontein that prides itself on a collaborative and professional culture. Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to become an integral part of their team, supporting their continued growth and excellence in financial services.

Duties:

Manage and oversee accounting operations and reporting processes
Assist with auditing and tax preparations
Supervise and mentor junior accountants
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Prepare financial statements and analysis
Maintain and enhance relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

Proven experience in an accounting environment of 3 to 5 years
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles (beneficial)
Fluency in Afrikaans and English (both written and spoken)
Experience in auditing and tax
Proficiency in Sage, Pastel, and Xero
Strong managerial and leadership skills
Excellent computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel
High numeracy and analytical ability
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure
Effective time management and organizational skills
Deadline-driven and proactive

Benefits:

Salary: R18,000 - R30,000 per month (Cost to Company)
