Our client is seeking ambitious, driven, and detail-oriented graduates and students to join their team SAIPA / SAICA Trainee Accountants (2027) in Bloemfontein. Minimum requirements
Matric
Completed or currently completing a BCom Accounting, BAcc, CTA, or equivalent qualification
Studying towards or inending to register for a SAIPA or SAICA training contract
Strong academic record
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
Skills required
Eager to learn and develop professionally
Highly motivated and career-focused
Strong work ethic and integrity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Duties and responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of financial statements
Perform accounting and bookkeeping functions
Assist with auditing assignments and related working papers
Prepare and submit tax returns
Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
Assist with VAT calculations and submissions
Analyse financial information and reports
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation
Provide administrative support on client accounts and projects
Remuneration
Negotiable, depending on qualifications
