About the Role
As our Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract management for a diverse range of projects. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure that all aspects of the project are financially managed to the highest standard, from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
- Manage project budgets and monitor expenditure
- Oversee procurement and ensure value for money
- Conduct risk analysis and manage contractual obligations
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project goals are met
- Provide cost planning and commercial advice across electrical, IT, solar, and automation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in quantity surveying within multidisciplinary environment
- Experience working on electrical, AV, solar or building automation systems is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Willingness to relocate and be based in Rwanda full-time
