Job Summary
A leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm is seeking a Professionally Registered Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering an opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects, particularly in the public health sector.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be professionally registered with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech) – this is not negotiable
Minimum 5 years post-registration experience (Candidate registrations will not be considered)
Proven experience in complex construction environments (experience in government health projects is highly advantageous)
Comfortable working in a collaborative open office environment
Technical Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of JBCC 6.2 Principal Building Agreement is essential
Exposure to NEC 3 & 4 contracts will be beneficial
Experience with project-specific cash flow projections (for both construction and PSP fees) is advantageous
Excellent administrative and formal writing skills
High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Able to work independently and deliver under strict deadlines
