Job Summary
Sebenzana APP is seeking a detail-driven and motivated Draughtsman to support our Project Engineering team in delivering high-quality technical drawings for complex engineering projects.
In this role, you will transform engineering concepts into accurate 2D and 3D drawings across industries such as power generation, petrochemical, and heavy engineering.
- Develop detailed technical drawings using CAD tools
- Produce 2D and 3D models (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)
- Generate PFDs, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and BOMs
- Interpret engineering designs into precise technical drawings
- Modify designs to resolve technical challenges
- Perform on-site verification and measurements
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Draughting qualification (N5 or equivalent)
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Project engineering experience
- Exposure to power generation (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Must reside in the Gauteng area
- AutoCAD (essential)
- Plant 3D (advantageous)
- Inventor / SolidWorks
- MS Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Team collaboration
- Occasional travel may be required.
- On-site support and data collection involved.
