Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager – Retention to manage and grow long-term client relationships within the Engineering sector.
This role focuses on client satisfaction, contract renewals, and strategic retention initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, technically aware, and passionate about delivering seamless client experiences.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key clients
- Coordinate service delivery between internal teams and client stakeholders
- Proactively manage contract renewals and retention strategies
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client business goals
- Monitor client satisfaction, renewal cycles, and service metrics
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with delivery, finance, and technical teams to resolve issues
- Support continuous improvement in client engagement and retention outcomes

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Preferable - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years in account management, client services, or retention
- Industry experience in engineering, capital equipment, or technical services
- Understanding of modular engineering, project lifecycle, or process equipment (advantageous)
- Proficient in CRM and ERP systems (e.g., HubSpot, Syspro)
- Strong Excel and reporting capabilities
- Proven success in renewal management, client satisfaction, and commercial negotiation
