Job Summary
A client of ours within the Civil Engineering sector is looking for a Material Technician with 5 years' experience in sand testing ability. The suitable candidate must have knowledge of sand testing and quality control (QC).
Job Responsibilities
Laboratory Testing - Must be Competent and qualified to execute sand tests in the laboratory
Soil Sampling & Fieldwork
Administration experience will be Advantageous
Control laboratory activities such as quality control under supervision
Physically able and willing to work with, move and pick up samples as and when required,
Qualification and Experience
Education : Grade 12
Experience in a SANAS accredited lab - advantageous
5 Years working experience
Language: Proficiency in English (Read, write, speak)
Good Communication Skills
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook
Must be competent and comfortable with latest test methods
Physically able and willing to work with, move and pick up samples as and when required
Must have a code 08/10 Drivers Licence
Must reside in and around Randburg
Must be criminally clear
