ASSISTANT MECHANICAL FOREMAN – DAYSHIFT
Are you an experienced Mechanical Foreman ready to lead from the front?
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Mechanical Foreman to lead our dayshift mechanical team within a fast-paced plant environment.
What we’re looking for:
Previous mechanical management/foreman experience
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and take ownership
Experience with plant mechanical maintenance
Knowledge of pumps, fittings, couplings and alignment
Bearing fitment and mechanical alignment
Sprockets, chains, V-belts and pulleys
Conveyor systems and bucket elevators
FMCG experience and automation knowledge will be advantageous
Heat exchanger and boiler experience will be advantageous
Requirements:
Own reliable transport
Willingness to work overtime when required
Available for standby duties
Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
