What You'll Do:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment throughout the plant to ensure optimal operational performance.
Manage high- and low-voltage systems with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Develop and implement control systems using advanced PLC knowledge with tools such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens S5, and S7.
Monitor instrumentation and automate processes to enhance manufacturing productivity.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise electrical systems and implement continuous improvements.
Strong electrical maintenance experience
Requirements:
Electrician Trade - Red Seal or National Diploma (N6) in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience of at least 6 years working with electrical equipment in a manufacturing or similar setting.
Extensive knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems.
Strong proficiency in PLC fault finding and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with the following:
Electrical and instrumentation design principles.
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) configuration or programming
