Sales Manager
Location: Kempton Park
A leading provider in the technical and industrial sector is seeking a Sales Manager to establish and lead its sales and marketing function. This senior role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and lead the sales and marketing department.

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business objectives.

Lead, manage, and motivate a team of six sales professionals.

Drive new business development and expand market share across South Africa and Africa.

Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy.

Report directly to senior leadership and represent the company at industry events.

Occasional travel across Africa (3–4 times per year).
Candidate Profile:

Proven track record in sales management, preferably within technical or industrial sectors.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Solid understanding of technical products (lifting equipment, cranes, or related advantageous).

Skilled in planning, executing, and monitoring sales strategies.

Resilient personality with the ability to drive results in a competitive environment.

Diploma/Degree in Sales or Marketing advantageous, but extensive experience prioritized.

Immediate availability preferred.
