Job Summary
Draughtsman - Eastrand - (Rneg) Non smoker We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman with strong SolidWorks experience to join our engineering and fabrication team. You will be responsible for accurate drawings, 3D modelling, and supporting production with clear, high?quality documentation.
- Produce precise CAD part and assembly drawings (*.dxf, *.pdf).
- Create and modify 3D models in SolidWorks.
- Update BOMs and maintain drawing data packs.
- Perform drawing checks, inspections, and sign?offs.
- Prepare documentation and liaise with customers/suppliers.
- Assist with workshop/manufacturing issues.
- Conduct site measurements when required.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- NQF 4 with Maths & Technical Drawing.
- Strong knowledge of steel materials and fabrication.
- SolidWorks experience essential (3D modelling + machining tolerances).
- 3–5 years relevant experience.
- PDM knowledge is an advantage.
