What You'll Be DoingAs the Facility & Utility Electrical Coordinator, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the site's electrical infrastructure by:
Coordinating electrical installation, upgrade, and improvement projects
Preparing and updating electrical drawings using EPLAN or similar software
Performing cable sizing, short-circuit, and selectivity calculations
Ensuring all electrical systems comply with AREI regulations and safety standards
Coordinating mandatory electrical inspections and maintaining compliance documentation
Supervising and managing external electrical contractors
Supporting facility expansions and infrastructure improvements
Working closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to maximise plant reliability
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the electrical department
We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have:
A qualification in Industrial Electricity or equivalent experience
5+ years' experience in industrial electrical installations, utilities, or facility electrical coordination
Experience working with Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems
Experience using EPLAN or similar electrical design software
Strong knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, and electrical compliance
Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and contractors simultaneously
Advantageous ExperienceMedium Voltage (MV) electrical systems
Knowledge of AREI regulations
French and/or English language skills
Language RequirementGood Afrikaans language proficiency is essential for this role.
Candidate Requirements:South African citizen
Willing and able to relocate to Belgium
Valid passport (or willing to obtain one)
Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
