Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance Department as part of an experiential training and development programme. This role is designed to provide practical workplace experience to a student pursuing a qualification in Finance or Accounting.
The successful candidate will support the finance team with daily operational tasks and gain hands-on exposure to financial processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and timeously
- Create and maintain supplier master records
- Complete and submit supplier credit applications
- Create and manage Purchase Orders
- Assist with general accounts payable functions
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Department
- Assist with ad hoc finance-related tasks as required
Requirements
- Currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Requires experiential training to complete qualification
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
