Job Summary
Hire Resolves' client is urgently seeking a Civil Engineer: Roads to join their team in Durban.Responsibilities:
- Effective leadership and management of design, production of engineering design reports, traffic studies, preparation of construction procurement documents etc.
- Management of delivery of projects from planning to close out.
- Monthly reporting and cost control.
- Training of Technical staff
- Pavement Design of major routes and highways
Requirements:
- PrEng.
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience in the consulting engineering environment in Transport Infrastructure, specifically in the fields of planning, pavement engineering, geometric design, stormwater drainage design, contract administration and supervision of roads contracts.
- Experience in road rehabilitation design.
- Proven track record in management of a design office.
- Must be able to work independently and be able to interact with relevant stakeholders at management level.
