Your Role
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for transforming client drawings and concepts into fabrication-ready models that can be successfully manufactured and installed. You'll work closely with project teams while gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies, including laser scanning and 3D modelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Create fabrication-ready 3D models from client drawings and design information
- Produce detailed shop drawings for manufacturing and fabrication purposes
- Generate DXF files, cutting lists, and associated fabrication deliverables
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure models meet project and fabrication requirements
- Conduct laser scanning activities on-site when required
- Merge, process, and clean laser scan data
- Ensure engineering drawings and models meet quality and production standards
- Support the successful delivery of fabrication and construction projects
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Draughting and 3D Modelling Qualification
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 0 to 2 years' experience in 3D modelling and draughting
- SolidWorks experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively within a project-driven environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
