This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. The successful candidate will take full accountability for branch performance, including sales growth, customer service, operational efficiency, and team management.You will be responsible for aligning branch activities with strategic objectives, while actively driving business development and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a leadership role where you will influence performance, build a strong team culture, and ensure profitability.
Education:
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 (essential)
- Sales and/or General Management qualification (advantageous)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in business development and management
- Proven experience managing and leading a diverse team
- Strong sales, operational, and financial management experience
- Ability to drive performance, accountability, and team engagement
- Knowledge of stock control, customer service, and credit management
- Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and motivate branch staff to achieve business goals
- Drive sales targets and ensure profitability of the branch
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service excellence
- Oversee stock control, operational efficiencies, and financial performance
- Implement sales strategies aligned with regional and national objectives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
