HDD Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, and maintenance of metal components and structures used in trenchless technology, construction equipment, and associated systems. This role may also include tasks in fitting, assembly, and general support in the workplace. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on steel, stainless steel, and other metals. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical plans, and specifications. • Fabricate components and structures for HDD rigs, trailers, and custom machinery. • Conduct repairs and maintenance welding on mechanical and equipment. • Operate cutting, grinding, and shaping tools (e.g., angle grinders, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene). • Ensure quality control through post-weld inspections and visual checks. • Maintain safe working conditions, adhering to company and legal health & safety standards. • Assist with fitting, assembly, and mechanical work as required. • Maintain welding equipment and report any issues promptly. • Work independently or as part of a fabrication team under tight project timelines. • Support field teams when mobile welding or site fabrication is needed. * Minimum of approximately 5 years’ welding experience in a structural or industrial setting • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.Error!
