Join a respected engineering business specialising in power transmission equipment for Food & Beverage and FMCG environments. This role is based in Gauteng and offers the opportunity to work closely with leading manufacturers, supporting production, packaging, and processing operations.You will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, providing technical sales support, and delivering engineered solutions suited to hygienic and food‑grade environments. This role combines technical knowledge with relationship‑driven sales in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused setting.
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience selling power transmission equipment
- Proven experience selling into Food & Beverage or FMCG manufacturing environments
- Strong technical understanding of gearboxes, motors, belts, chains, couplings, bearings, and drive systems
- Ability to provide application-based technical solutions to customers
- Experience engaging with maintenance managers, engineers, and plant managers
- Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to order closure
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Gauteng
