Job & Company Description:
The successful candidate will oversee the mechanical engineering and design of modular process equipment, ensuring technical accuracy, project compliance, and seamless integration across fabrication and site activities.
You will participate in all stages of project development, from early design work through to commissioning support. The position involves producing and reviewing mechanical specifications, leading design checks, engaging with internal teams, supporting vendor management, and maintaining rigorous engineering standards throughout execution.
The role also includes involvement in risk assessments, coordination during HAZOP processes, equipment selection, quality reviews, and mentoring junior engineers within the project team. A strong understanding of pressure systems, piping layouts, rotating equipment, and modular plant design is essential.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Non‑Negotiable)
- Additional training or certification in engineering or project management will be advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required
- At least 8 years of experience within EPC, EPCM, or EPS engineering environments
- Strong background in:
- Pressure vessel design
- Piping systems and layouts
- Rotating equipment
- Modular or skid‑based plant design
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and mechanical design software
- Familiarity with fabrication methods and modular integration processes
- Ability to perform and review engineering calculations
- Strong communication abilities and confidence working with multidisciplinary project teams
- High attention to detail and strong engineering discipline
- Willingness to provide support during installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning when required
