Job & Company Description:
As a Production Manager, you will lead and manage all on-site production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing output. You will be accountable for achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost control.You will play a critical role in optimising plant performance, improving asset reliability, developing high-performing teams, and embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on operational excellence within a well-established industrial operation.
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field- Additional technical, safety, or management qualifications will be advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
- Proven experience managing on-site production operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production KPIs, including output vs target, efficiency, OEE, uptime, and cost per unit
- Experience coordinating maintenance and asset reliability, including preventive maintenance and plant availability
- Sound working knowledge of HSE legislation, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop production and maintenance teams
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or OEE improvement
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and resource optimisation skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
