You will be responsible for developing new accounts while maintaining existing customer relationships, working closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet operational and production requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new business opportunities within the KZN region
- Promote and sell packaging automation solutions to industrial and manufacturing clients
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships
- Conduct client visits, needs analysis and solution-based sales presentations
- Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure accurate solution offerings
- Prepare quotations, proposals and close sales opportunities
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to market growth within the region
- Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM updates
Education
- Relevant qualification in sales, business, engineering or a related field (advantageous)
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or Business Development professional
- Experience selling packaging machinery, automation solutions or industrial equipment will be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of solution-based or consultative sales
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel across KZN
