In this role, you will be responsible for performing detailed piping stress analysis using CAESAR II, ensuring systems are safe, reliable, and compliant with applicable standards. You will analyse piping systems under thermal expansion, sustained, and occasional loading conditions, while reviewing layouts and recommending optimal support configurations.
You will collaborate closely with piping designers, structural engineers, and project teams to optimise system performance. The role also involves identifying design risks, proposing practical engineering solutions, and preparing comprehensive stress analysis reports to support project delivery and compliance.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in piping design and piping stress analysis
- 5 to 8 Years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial plant projects preferred
- Proficiency in CAESAR II piping stress analysis software
- Working knowledge of ASME and EN piping design codes and standards
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with piping design and 3D modelling tools advantageous
