Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Develop and review mechanical designs, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Participate in site inspections, installation oversight, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a Mechanical Project Engineering role.
- Experience within mining, mineral processing, heavy industry, manufacturing, or related engineering environments will be advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage engineering projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment design, and project execution methodologies.
- Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
