CANDIDATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Work experience:
• Previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5 star hotel
• Familiar with all duties and procedures in the Maintenance Department
• Third language is advantageous
• Valid drivers licence
Other:
• Reliable, responsible and dependable to fulfil obligations
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to lead, take charge and offer direction
• Ability to multitask
• Show initiative by taking control of task
• Excellent communication skills
• Friendly and service orientated
Tasks (include but not limited to):
• Ensure facilities are in optimal condition
• Maintain high standards of working area, hotel premises and equipment
• Make optimal use of materials without wastage
• Operate power tools and equipment
• Care of the lawns, pool and flowerbeds
• Provide assistance to guest complaints
• Repair furnishings and appliances
