We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading maintenance operations and ensuring the effective management of the maintenance team.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Experience in executing and continuously improving a planned preventive maintenance programme.
- Proven track record of leading root cause investigations and driving corrective actions to verified closure.
- Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (food, pharmaceutical, FMCG or similar) is advantageous.
- Hands-on competence in mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair on industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance principles with the ability to design, implement and continuously improve maintenance programmes.
- Ownership without excuses. Takes accountability when things go wrong, focuses on understanding why failures occur, and drives effective solutions rather than accepting temporary fixes or shifting responsibility.

- Own the PM schedule and ensure it is executed on time, to standard, and properly documented.
