Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (NQF 4).
- Trade Test Qualification: Electrician or Millwright (NQF 5).
- Minimum 3 years’ electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, and maintenance software advantageous.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and equipment breakdowns.
- Perform preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections and daily equipment checks.
- Minimise production downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repairs.
- Complete maintenance job cards and ensure accurate reporting.
- Support production teams with process-related maintenance issues.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and parts availability.
- Assist with training Apprentices and preparing training equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulations.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and minimise waste.
