Job Summary
Minimum Requirements
- Engineering Diploma or Degree
- Project Management Diploma or Degree
- Minimum 10–15 years' experience managing capital projects
- Previous experience within the mining and/or mineral processing environment
- Proven experience managing projects from concept through to completion
- Strong experience in project planning, scheduling and execution
- Experience managing consultants, suppliers and contractors
- Sound knowledge of financial management, budgeting and cost control
- Experience in contract and risk management
- Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and applicable legislation
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership, planning and coordination abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage capital projects from concept through to successful completion.
- Develop and implement project strategies, plans and schedules.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, performance and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, financial performance and commercial deliverables.
- Oversee project contracts and ensure effective contractual compliance.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues.
- Engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project reports, performance updates and relevant documentation.
- Ensure effective project governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead, coordinate and develop project team members.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and all applicable legislation.
- Maintain quality assurance standards throughout all project phases.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement lessons learned.
- Ensure all required project close-out documentation and deliverables are completed.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 15:30
- Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are non-working days.
