Job Summary
We have a new role available for Welding Robot Operators.
We're looking for candidates who have:
* 5–6+ years of experience in sheet metal or metal fabrication.
* Experience in industries such as machine building, aerospace, precision engineering, or fine metalworking. Experience should be focused on precision work rather than heavy industrial fabrication or standard welding applications.
* A strong technical mindset and the ability to read technical drawings.
* A precise and structured way of working; quality is extremely important in this role.
* Afrikaans fluency.
* The candidates should be 27-28 years old to due to the HSM visa salary threshold.
* Experience operating welding robots is definitely a plus, but it isn't essential. Candidates with a strong sheet metal background and the willingness to learn are also interesting.
The role involves working in a modern production environment where candidates will operate automated welding equipment, monitor production quality, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure products meet very high manufacturing standards. It's a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy precision work and advanced manufacturing.
The position is in a 2-shift schedule. The salary package meets the Highly Skilled Migrant visa threshold for South African candidates under 30 years old.
