Job Summary
Qualification- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Relevant qualification in Operations / Maintenance Management
- Valid drivers license
- 5+ Years of Operational or Maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Proven track record in preventative maintenance systems and production optimization.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Computer literate
- Own transport
- Preferred (Advantageous, but Not Essential)
Experience with sachet filling machines or liquid packaging equipment.
- Operations Leadership: Oversee daily plant workflow, production targets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Responsible for daily factory opening and closing, ensuring site security.
- Maintenance Strategy: Manage preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs across all plant equipment to minimize downtime.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and schedule the maintenance and production staff to drive a continuous improvement culture.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards (OHSA/SHEQ).
- Budgeting & Costs: Monitor operational expenditures, control spare parts inventory, and optimize maintenance costs.
