Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive order intake to meet and exceed annual revenue targets while maintaining gross margin thresholds
- Manage a qualified pipeline at a minimum of 3× the annual sales target, updated continuously in the CRM
- Execute the full Mercuri sales cycle — from needs identification and benefit analysis through to close
- Compile and manage technical proposals, costings, and tender documents in line with commercial and risk policies
- Conduct site visits, plant assessments, and technical audits to support solution development
- Engage credibly with process engineers, mine planners, and EPCM consultants at client level
- Facilitate test work campaigns and ensure delivery against agreed client requirements
- Execute thorough project handovers to the project management team, ensuring scope accuracy and commercial completeness
- Submit regular market intelligence and competitor analysis reports
- Represent the business at industry events and grow the client base through proactive stakeholder engagement
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance sales culture
Experience Required
- 5–8 years of engineering sales experience in the mining, minerals processing, or crushing equipment space
- Demonstrated track record in selling capital equipment into the mining and minerals processing markets
- Hands-on experience with jaw, gyratory, cone, impact, or roll crushers is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage large capital equipment tenders including legal terms, performance guarantees, and risk assessment
- Competence in costing, estimating, and financial modelling for capital equipment proposals
- Experience with CRM systems and advanced MS Office literacy
- Willingness to travel and spend extended time on site or in-country
- Valid driver's licence and own transport

- Degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical discipline (required)
