Job Summary
Qualifications- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Valid Drivers License
- 5+ years’ experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Experience in stainless steel fabrication, pressure vessels, or similar industries preferred
- Methodical, with an ability to work under pressure whilst being attentive to detail, with the capacity to multitask, must be able to use own initiative, and be a team player;
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Good respectful communication, effective conflict management and interpersonal skills with superiors, colleagues, and suppliers;
- Organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must take pride in appearance of Pretoria facility and equipment and has excellent attention to detail
- The Machine Minder is responsible for the safe, efficient, and consistent operation of manufacturing equipment used in the production of steam sterilizers, pressure vessels, and stainless steel CSSD products. The role ensures machines are correctly set up, maintained during operation, and producing components that meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Supports the company’s Safety, Housekeeping and Quality Standards.
- Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to health & safety, well-being and the environment whilst complying with all laws and company policies.
