Job Summary
JOB PURPOSE
You are responsible for leading and managing all company and project-related procurement activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven supply of materials, equipment, and services. This includes sourcing and procuring platework, structural components, OEM equipment, tools, consumables, and corrosion protection systems in line with project specifications and delivery schedules.
A key requirement of your role is the ability to interpret and analyse engineering Bills of Quantities (BOQs), which define the materials and components required for each project scope. You will use these BOQs to accurately plan, source, and track procurement requirements throughout the project lifecycle. You are accountable for supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management, ensuring competitive pricing, reliable delivery, and the development of strong supplier relationships. You will work closely with the Material Controller to coordinate logistics and ensure the timely availability of all procured items in line with project milestones.
In addition, you are responsible for procurement governance, compliance, and reporting, providing clear visibility on procurement status, risks, and performance to the Financial Director and Projects Director. You play a critical role in supporting successful project execution by ensuring procurement activities are fully aligned with budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage procurement processes from sourcing through to delivery
- Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and requirements
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery timelines
- Maintain procurement records and documentation
- Ensure cost efficiency and budget compliance
- Own the full procurement function, conducting all purchasing and supplier engagements with complete transparency, fairness, and a firm commitment to acting in the best interest of the company at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain / Procurement
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience in Mining or Construction industry preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport
