As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects from a technical and planning standpoint. This includes establishing project schedules, reviewing client drawings and documentation, and ensuring all technical specifications and procurement details are in place to support downstream processes.
You will coordinate closely with procurement, production, and operations teams to ensure materials, components, and technical documentation are accurate and available to meet project timelines and budgets. The role also involves monitoring project progress, managing procurement activities, compiling project databooks for inspections, and ensuring all documentation is maintained according to company standards.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Experience working in an electrical project environment as an Engineer or Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation processes and industry best practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating procurement packages and supplier quotations
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple project requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines
