Job Summary
Key Requirements
● Degree in Architecture (BArch or equivalent).
● 1–3 years’ working experience in an architectural practice.
● SACAP registration (Candidate Architect).
● Proficient in Autodesk Revit (essential).
(Note: CBD Architects operates fully in Revit — no AutoCAD workflow.)● Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
● Basic understanding of SANS and National Building Regulations.
● Good design sensibility with attention to detail.
● Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
● Assist in producing accurate Revit models and technical drawings.
● Support municipal submission packages and council documentation.
● Coordinate information with consultants under senior guidance.
● Assist with site documentation and revisions where required.
● Ensure compliance with building regulations and internal standards.
Advantageous Skills (Optional)
● Rendering experience (D5, Lumion, Enscape, or similar).
● Understanding of BIM workflows.
● Site experience or construction exposure.
● Strong graphic presentation skills.
