Job Summary
A leading player in the premium food and beverage industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee their specialized tea production facility in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth environment dedicated to quality and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily warehouse operations within the tea plant, ensuring optimal flow and storage.
Manage inventory control processes, including stock takes, cycle counts, and variance reporting.
Supervise the receiving, picking, and dispatching of raw materials and finished tea products.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food quality standards within the facility.
Coordinate with production and procurement departments to ensure seamless supply chain alignment.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage space to improve efficiency.
Lead and mentor the warehouse team, managing performance and scheduling.
Requirements:
Minimum Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
Qualification: Formal Certificate in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain Management.
Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse management role, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management software and food safety protocols is highly advantageous.
Skills: Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
