Job Summary
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Co-ordinator to join their team in Ladysmith.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating export sales processes, managing shipping documentation, liaising with freight forwarders and customers, and ensuring efficient order processing and delivery coordination.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade
- 3–5 years’ experience in export logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of SARS Customs Regulations
- ERP system experience (Syspro advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience dealing with customers and handling queries or complaints
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of customs procedures and tariff classifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong administrative and coordination ability
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and process export sales orders
- Liaise with customers and sales managers regarding orders and timelines
- Prepare proforma invoices and shipping documentation
- Coordinate export shipments with freight forwarders
- Monitor shipment status and ensure documentation accuracy
- Obtain freight quotations and process related documentation
- Coordinate deliveries in line with country shipping protocols
- Arrange customs inspections and clearing requirements
- Maintain effective communication with all relevant stakeholders
