Job Summary
Job Title: PPT Driver
Job Purpose:
To operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently to move, load, and transport stock within the Distribution Centre, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate PPT equipment safely in line with company and safety procedures.
- Move and transport pallets and stock to designated areas.
- Assist with loading and offloading vehicles and warehouse stock.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety rules.
- Assist with stock counts and other warehouse duties when required.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Valid PPT license/certification.
- Previous warehouse or DC experience (advantageous).
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Competencies:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Safety awareness.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
