Job Summary
Job Purpose
The Territory Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end operational, financial, and commercial performance of multiple service stations. This includes driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, and leading site-level management teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise performance across multiple fuel service stations
- Drive operational efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across sites
- Oversee forecourt, convenience store, and add-on retail/QSR operations
- Analyse financial performance including budgets, margins, and profitability
- Implement cost control initiatives and identify revenue growth opportunities
- Lead and support site managers and operational teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Manage customer service standards and resolve operational escalations
- Oversee maintenance and asset management across sites
- Manage labour structures, staff performance, and workplace discipline
- Develop and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) essential
- Minimum 2–5 years senior management experience (Operations / Area / Regional role)
- Proven experience in fuel retail / service station environment
- Multi-site management experience advantageous
- Strong financial acumen (P&L, budgets, margins, cost control)
- Experience in convenience retail and/or QSR operations
- Strong understanding of labour relations and staff management
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Willingness to travel extensively
